Built in the Virgin Islands, for the Virgin Islands

Satified was made by Mirza N. Baig, a 2026 graduate of Charlotte Amalie High School in St. Thomas, where he finished as valedictorian. It was not built as a side project. It was built as an answer to something he watched happen to his own class.

Through his years at Charlotte Amalie, the math staffing kept thinning. The calculus teacher left. There was no Algebra 2 teacher. The geometry teacher was gone for roughly three months, and that class largely stalled. Students still passed and still advanced, but the gap showed up the moment it was measured against a standardized test rather than a report card. Roughly 4 percent of his class reached proficiency in math on the Smarter Balanced assessment, and the class behind them was closer to 1.5 percent.

That is not only a Charlotte Amalie problem. Territory wide, USVI math proficiency was measured at 6.1 percent in the 2022 administration, while the national figure sat closer to 39 percent. The gap is structural, and students in the territory are the ones who absorb it.

He got around it by teaching himself the math nobody was there to teach, and it paid off on the SAT. The problem is that self teaching only saves the student who happens to be stubborn enough to attempt it. Satified exists to remove that requirement. It works on a phone, works on limited data, never asks for a credit card, and gives every student in the territory the practice volume that a fully staffed math department would have provided.

Free for students on St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix

Wherever you are in the territory, Satified works the same: open a browser and start. That covers students at the public high schools, Charlotte Amalie and Ivanna Eudora Kean on St. Thomas, and St. Croix Central and the St. Croix Educational Complex, along with the territory's private schools and anyone learning at home. St. John students who commute to St. Thomas for school can use it just as easily.

There is nothing to install and nothing to buy. The whole point is that a student on any island can get real, exam level SAT Math practice for free.

Where you take the SAT in the USVI

The SAT is administered at test sites on both St. Thomas and St. Croix. You sign up through the College Board, then choose a test date and a center on your island. Because available seats and dates shift from one testing window to the next, confirm what is open near you with the College Board test center finder before you register.

The territory tests the same digital SAT the rest of the country does, delivered through the College Board's Bluebook app. That is exactly what Satified is built to prepare you for.

Why it fits island students

In person SAT prep in the territory is limited, and the paid options can be out of reach. A free tool that mirrors the real test closes that gap. Here is what you get:

  • Real digital SAT difficulty. The question bank follows the College Board's own taxonomy of four domains and 19 skills, at the medium and hard levels where scores are actually won.
  • Questions that regenerate. All 1,483 questions rebuild with fresh numbers every time, so you learn the pattern instead of memorizing an answer.
  • Built in Desmos. The same Desmos calculator the digital SAT gives you in Bluebook is right there while you practice.
  • A free AI tutor. Stuck on a problem at 11pm with no one to ask? The AI tutor gives step by step help, free, no account.
  • Full practice tests. Adaptive practice tests copy the real two module structure so test day feels familiar.

Aiming for UVI or a mainland college

Whether you are applying to the University of the Virgin Islands or to a school on the mainland, a stronger SAT Math score widens your options and your scholarship money. The PSAT matters too: a high score can put you in reach of recognition and aid, and you can see roughly where you stand with the National Merit calculator and sharpen up with PSAT Math practice.

Every point you can add before test day is a point that costs you nothing here.
